The exceptional Norwegian music group JOYLESS, hitherto known almost exclusively to (black metal) underground fanatics, recently announced in its Web diary that a new album is being recorded. Therewith the quasi successor of the black metal horde FORGOTTEN WOODS finally presents to their followers the long awaited successor of the album “Wisdom & Arrogance”, which saw the light of day in 2000.
Once SELBSTMORD SERVICES described within the scope of the promotion campaign the band's music as “misanthropic pop” - a name which actually fits quite well. As you may convince yourselves in the Web diary of JOYLESS (http://www.myspace.com/joylessmusic), listening to some of the new raw mixes, all in all they will further on remain in that sphere.
